Check out this video from the Conjunto Heritage Taller at Maverick Plaza that was held on July 25, 2009

This video was posted on You Tube by Matt Bynum

The following is Matt’s writeup about the event from the You Tube page:

The 2009 Conjunto Heritage Taller Conjunto Tardeada (July 25 2009) is an event that not only showcases the traditional Mexican folk music of button accordion and bajo sexto of San Antonio and South Texas but most importantly the cultural knowledge and musical skills of the Taller’s students and instructors.

The Taller offers classes in button accordion to students of all ages on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and on Saturday mornings at our studio, located at 725 S Presa St
San Antonio, Texas 78210-1374, telephone (210) 212-8560.

Taller (tah-yer) is the Spanish word for workshop, or a place where someone learns and practices.

Matt, thanks for bringing this video to my attention in my “Suggestion Box“.
